Position Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Wage: $19/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:45pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a company in Edwardsville, KS. This is a temporary role. Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Promptly, accurately, professionally, and courteously assess all received calls/inquiries and direct or record and relay messages to others - Meet and greet drivers and visitors - Perform general clerical duties to include photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing - Plan and monitor daily inbound/outbound loads - Work with inventory to ensure accurate receipts - Notify departments/managers of discrepancies - Resolve problems by collecting and analyzing information and coordinating solutions with departments/managers - Prepare work area with the necessary items to ensure efficient and accurate process flow - Maintain a clean and safe work area by supporting 5S activities - Other assigned duties Shipping & Receiving Clerk Requirements: - Utilize computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, Word, Excel, Outlook email, and other software applications including data entry and database management - Provide oral and written communication to all levels of employees within the company as needed - Organize and prioritize work - Sit for long periods of time - Infrequent light physical effort - Ability to multitask - Detail-oriented QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
