What you'll do:

The Financial Systems Administrator will provide day-to-day support and administration of The Shyft Group's OneStream environment. The OneStream Administrator will be responsible for maintaining all functional aspects of the OneStream platform, which includes financial close/consolidation, account reconciliations, forecasting and budgeting processes.

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote

Core Responsibilities:

  • As part of the Shared Services Team, this position will work closely with accounting and finance teams to support the OneStream software close and consolidation, forecast and budget processes.
  • Maintain user security and access rights, chart of accounts, mapping translations, reports and reporting categories for actual, forecast, and budget.
  • Perform data loads and validations ensuring integrity of data
  • Ensure all data mapping and translation between multiple ERP systems and other financial systems using OneStream is processed correctly
  • Understand custom business rules, data sources/integrations, transformation rules, and workflow profiles to complete effective troubleshooting of issues
  • Support users, and provide training where needed, via live sessions or one-on-one support to ensure timely close and account reconciliations processes
  • Manage day-to-day maintenance and administration of OneStream through internal ticketing system
  • Open OneStream support cases and interact with the OneStream support team when needed
  • Maintain and provide procedures and documentation to meet SOX audit requirements
  • Look for strategic opportunities to enhance the use of OneStream across the organization to improve existing processes and increase data integrity
  • Troubleshoot system errors and document consistent problems for future enhancements
  • Refresh development environments as needed
  • Assist and support other areas, as needed.

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems
  • 1+ years supporting a financial reporting system like OneStream, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or similar system. OneStream experience is highly preferred.
  • OneStream Certification, such as a Certified Associate in Administration credential is preferred
  • Experience with Cube Views, Excel Add-in, Quick Views, report development is a plus
  • Strong financial reporting and financial planning knowledge including experience with multi-site consolidations
  • Experience working with IT department or technical partners for system management
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and change management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to spot anomalies or mistakes and develop solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with various business users and stakeholders
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in OneStream
  • Excellent working knowledge with MS office suites, Excel, PowerPoint & Word
