Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides high-quality, evidence-based healthcare to college students, faculty, and staff. Working within a collaborative, student-centered environment, the NP delivers primary care, health education, and preventive services to support the physical and mental well-being of the campus community. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and collaborative agreements Provide sexual and reproductive health services, including STI testing and contraception counseling Offer mental health support and referrals as appropriate Promote wellness through health education, outreach, and preventive care initiatives Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and other campus departments to ensure holistic care Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA and institutional policies Participate in emergency response planning and campus health initiatives Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification (e.g., FNP, ANP, or equivalent) Active state licensure and prescriptive authority Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in adolescent or young adult health CPR/BLS certification required Preferred Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience in college health, primary care, or urgent care settings Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare delivery
