POSITION SUMMARY The NAC TRAX Project Specialist (Temporary) will serve as a key contributor to the NAC TRAX Improvement Project team, supporting initiatives to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and alignment of NAC's data with Saltchuk Aviation's standards. The incumbent will collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Records, Maintenance Programs, Information Technology, Project Management, and external consultants to execute on a comprehensive project plan designed to strengthen TRAX data quality and operational compliance. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist with all requests for information and required data, including research where required, from TRAX, and internal repositories (example: SharePoint or shared drives) or external data (example: Boeing Toolbox). * Support resolution of pending queue, work order close, and other material discrepancies. * Support resolution of maintenance programs & engineering functionality in TRAX including updating task card headers, correcting effectivity, and linking engineering controls, task cards, & engineering orders. * Update or audit TRAX data in NAC as required to address any compliance and historical gaps. * Collaborate with Tech Ops Business Manager on creating/updating User Guides and SOPs. * Assist with training end users on any new processes, SOPs, and TRAX user guides. * Other project specific duties are assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED). EXPERIENCE: * Minimum 18 months office/administrative experience in a role of similar pace and complexity; strongly prefer work experience in a highly regulated environment. * Prior experience with TRAX required. * Strong Microsoft Office, especially, Excel, Outlook and Word; experience creating formulas in Excel preferred. * Prior experience auditing records. * Prior experience with NAC maintenance policies and procedures or other airline maintenance experience. * Need strong, accurate data entry skills * Must have exceptional attention to detail and good organizational skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Manual dexterity is required for heavy amount of computer input. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. * Will need to see, talk, and hear to accommodate all candidates through the process. * The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. * Be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT * Most work is performed in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
