Mah Molecular Innovation Center (MIC), at the University of California, Irvine, is seeking a full-time Academic Coordinator. The MIC is a place where brilliant minds unite across health disciplines to pioneer drug design and discovery, transforming the landscape of healthcare. The Academic Coordinator, under the supervision of the MIC Director, will support the MIC's mission through comprehensive coordination and day-to-day administration of projects and initiatives in support of the Director and Center. Duties include:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a higher education setting and with EHS compliance, purchasing, facilities coordination, fiscal management, equipment/service contracts, training, scheduling, space/admin support, communications, and special events. The Academic Coordinator position is a one-year renewable term appointment with benefits, including medical insurance, sick and vacation leave. Performance in this position is evaluated annually; merit evaluations are held every two years. Qualifications Basic qualifications
