The successful candidate:

***Must have hospital billing coding experience- experience with CPT/HCPCS codes. Must have experience working with Epic.***

The Charge Capture Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely charge entry across the CAP sites. This leader oversees a team of charge capture specialists and is responsible for driving productivity, maintaining high-quality standards, and implementing best practices that align with organizational goals. The Supervisor is responsible for identifying trends impacting charge capture and communicating with the sites supported. The Supervisor must be capable of mentoring the team while setting an example consistent with COH mission, vision, value and bond. The Supervisor must have strong understanding of CPT/HCPCS and CMS/payer billing guidelines. Reporting to the Senior Revenue Integrity Manager, this role is pivotal in optimizing revenue cycle performance and compliance.

Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: BS/BA in healthcare or business-related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of college degree.

  • Minimum Experience: 3+ years Charge Capture/Revenue Cycle/Coding experience in a hospital or physician healthcare setting

  • Preferred Courses/Training: Epic Revenue Integrity, Hospital and/or Professional Billing (Resolute)

  • Training Courses in Strategic Pricing, Billing and Regulatory Compliance, Revenue Cycle

  • Preferred Experience: Prior Supervisory experience or demonstrated experience leading teams or initiatives is required
