Description

There is an opening for a Shipping Coordinator in Corry, PA, however from time to time maybe assigned to the Irvine/Warren Plants. This position is non-exempt salary (overtime for over 40 hours/week) and will report to the Production Supervisor. Regular attendance as scheduled is an essential function.

The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

JOB DUTIES:



  • Coordinates communications through shipping company on shipments for customer product or maintenance repair items
  • Enters shipping data on customer's web site to provide trucking information. Contacts trucking companies for pick-up of material
  • Create material certifications and entering information into customer electronic approval systems for approval prior to shipping
  • Review stampings of forgings for accuracy and marking products, packaging product on pallets/banding/shrink and wrap, etc., as well as loading trucks.
  • Confirms delivery for farm out operations
  • Completes purchase orders in Syteline and maintains files including requisitions and packing slips
  • Assigns material to jobs in Syteline.
  • Scans and renames files of certification, route and BOL in customer files
  • Provides support of other departments when necessary. As an example, but not limited to, back up to Navy Nuclear certifications and Intercompany Shipping.
  • Completes internal orders and scans documentation
  • Regular attendance as scheduled is an essential function. Also, there will be times when overtime work will be mandatory.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prefer Associate Degree or administrative schooling
  • One (1) year experience in manufacturing, preferably in shipping
  • One (1) year office administration experience,
  • Experience with Syteline manufacturing systems preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Able to organize and prioritize work load.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills.
  • Good Personal Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel at a minimum).
