Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 7 AM - 3:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Prepare, mask, clean, and coat metal and other surfaces using powder coating and industrial painting systems.
• Operate a wet paint Graco system to apply coatings that meet color, thickness, gloss, and hardness requirements.
• Inspect coated parts for defects such as fisheyes, runs, or uncoated areas, ensuring a smooth and consistent finish.
• Perform daily checks, maintenance, and cleaning of paint booths, spray guns, and related equipment.
• Replace filters, apply peel-away coatings, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve quality and production issues.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement activities.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1+ years of powder coating experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of coating principles, materials, and problem-solving for defects like poor adhesion or rough coatings.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine coating requirements.
• Skilled in using measuring tools such as viscosity testers and thickness gauges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
