Overview NaphCare is hiring a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Local Government to join our team of Executives, based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL. The Chief Nursing Officer is a Registered Nurse with advanced studies and executive management experience in the practice, regulation and clinical standards of nursing. The Chief Nursing Officer provides strategic direction, ensures quality, accountability and fiscal responsibility for nursing throughout the company and has the ultimate nursing authority, responsibility and accountability for the practice within the Nursing Service Program. As one of the largest privately-owned providers of correctional healthcare services for 36 years, you will work with our executive team members to continue NaphCare's mission to deliver patient-focused, technology-driven care to correctional facilities across the nation. Responsibilities Under the direction of NaphCare's COO, the Chief Nursing Officer ensures nursing practices align with the organization's strategic goals. Responsibilities may include and not be limited to:
Leads in planning, priority setting and the development/revision of nursing practice policies and procedures for health care activities that comply with facility and contractual requirements (as applicable) and ACA, NCCHC and State standards.
