SUMMARY: The supervisor will oversee 1st or 2nd shift assigned to him/her.

This individual will be responsible for operations during their shift.

Must have Plastic Injection Molding Experience.

Supervisor: This role is responsible for overseeing production processes, and overall operation of our injection molding machines. We are looking for an individual that will drive efficiency, ensuring product quality utilizing our state-of-the-art injection molding machines. The ideal candidate will bring experience in PVC injection molding, a passion for continuous improvement, and the drive to succeed in the company's production goals.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Optimization of personnel and facilities can be achieved through setting priorities, and organization. This includes: assigning people, meeting schedules requirements, maintenance planning, and efficiently scheduling machine and mold capacity.

This individual should possess a good knowledge of the molding machine systems and overall production process. Work well with others and organizational skills.

Directs, instructs, and trains employees, and monitors, evaluates , and corrects employees performance and behavior as necessary.

Implement methods to reduce premium time waste.

Assures compliance with all applicable departmental and corporate policies and procedures. Enforces all applicable rules and regulations of the company.

Insures that all daily process checks are completed accurately.

Complies with environmental health and safety systems.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years previous injection molding process experience is required
  • Excellent attendance
  • Positive Attitude
  • Prior experience as an injection molding process tech
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Basic mathematics skills
  • Safe working practices
  • Computer skills
  • may occasionally need to lift moderate weights up to 50 lbs
  • Strong communication skills interacting with all levels of a company's hierarchy

Education and Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar type position working in the Plastics Industry; injection molding processes, PVC specifically
  • Crane, Forklift, and Pallet Jack experience
  • High School diploma is preferred
  • College degree beneficial but not necessary

Work Environment:

The work setting of this manufacturing facility provides adequate lighting, noise levels will be moving between moderate to high noise levels. Required Personal Protection Equipment includes Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, and Steel Toe Shoes
