Genesis10 is seeking an Integration Platform Engineer for a direct hire position with a client located in Oshkosh, WI, Dodge Center, MN, Hagerstown, MD, McConnellsburg, PA, or Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days onsite.
Summary:
The Integration Platform Lead will plan, design, implement, and support event-driven integrations and API management systems across a large enterprise environment. This position is ideal for a senior-level integrations developer who has established best practices, mentored others, and led technical standards for integration initiatives.
The position offers a $140k salary, 10% bonus opportunity, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an escalation point for advanced operational support and troubleshooting across the integrations ecosystem using Azure and Boomi API Management, Boomi integrations runtimes, and event/messaging/queueing systems across both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Lead project workstreams across API management and integration initiatives, collaborating closely with infrastructure and development teams.
- Develop and enforce best practices for CI/CD pipelines using DevOps principles and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Provide technical mentorship, guide junior integration developers, and translate business needs into scalable technical designs.
- Implement, monitor, and optimize event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Red Hat AMQ).
- Support the configuration, deployment, and operation of complex integration and API solutions.
- Participate in triage and resolution of API and integration outages and issues.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies related to API management, integration platforms, and automation.
- Support strategic roadmap development for the API and integrations ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in integrations, APIs, or related areas.
- Experience developing and supporting integrations using platforms such as Boomi, Mulesoft, Logic Apps, Talend, Informatica, or Tibco.
- Working knowledge of APIs, REST and SOAP protocols, authentication standards (OAuth), and DevOps pipelines.
- Proven experience mentoring peers and establishing technical guidelines or best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Understanding of integration infrastructure administration, including hands-on experience with installation and runtime management.
Preferred:
- Boomi Developer experience (5+ years) and Boomi certifications.
- Familiarity with Event Driven Architecture and message queuing performance tuning (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Red Hat AMQ).
- Azure API Management expertise and experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Azure Developer Associate or equivalent API certification.
