  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in lieu of degree
  • At least 6 years of directly related experience

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Operational Excellence Leader in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Quality and Performance Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. The Quality & Performance group is leading the charge in leveraging advanced data collection, storage, and processing with Power BI, a centralized datalike, and AI-driven optimization to unlock smarter, faster, and more efficient ways of working. As an OPEX Professional, you'll be a catalyst for change, helping teams In the Outage Services organization identify inefficiencies, solve problems, and implement sustainable improvements. You'll coach, facilitate, and lead initiatives that drive measurable impact - all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your work will include:



  • Coach & Facilitate:

    • Lead A3 problem-solving, FMEA sessions, 8D event resolution, and Voice of the Customer (VoC) initiatives.
    • Facilitate Lean workshops (VSM, 5S, Process Mapping) and support "Here & Now" meetings to drive real-time improvements.


  • Train & Empower:

    • Deliver engaging training on Lean tools and quality systems, including Visual Management, Manager in the Field, and more.


  • Drive Digital Transformation:

    • Partner with teams to map processes, identify automation opportunities, and support A3s tied to digital initiatives.
    • Champion the use of Power BI dashboards, data analytics via the US Datalike, and AI agents to uncover insights and streamline operations.


  • Strategic Planning & Reporting:

    • Support annual Master Plan development and track progress on key initiatives.
    • Report on VoC (NPS), Excelle in Quality, FMEA health, and A3 project status.


  • Collaborate Globally:

    • Engage with the global OpEx network to share best practices and align on enterprise-wide improvement strategies.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $83,000 - $113,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
