The Opportunity:

OpenText SMB/C is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic & highly motivated Sr. Marketing Specialist to support our consumer and professional campaigns. You will help drive our integrated marketing campaign strategy and execution to target, engage, and nurture prospects across multiple channels. You're a demand gen-centric marketer with a proven track record of success in B2C campaign execution. In this role, you'll develop a deep understanding of the consumer market for our key products which includes anti-virus, cloud backup and file-sharing users. You'll partner with many cross-functional teams and be the tip of the spear to develop holistic marketing plans that our product value proposition to the market in a compelling manner to drive conversion. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build & execute demand generation campaign plans for key audiences to drive awareness, purchase consideration and conversion
  • Support product campaign development and execution in support of demand generation
  • Orchestrate and align with key functions including product marketing, lifecycle marketing, digital marketing, sales, creative services, retail partners and others to drive true integrated marketing programs.
  • Document customer journeys and content strategy through digital (web, paid media, social, content syndication, etc.), organic social, website experience and email marketing engagement vehicles to help deliver fully integrated programs
  • Map campaign strategy to target personas and orchestrate tactics, assets, and messages that align to buying stages
  • In partnership with our creative team, lead the ideation and creation of marquee content assets to support integrated campaigns
  • Consistently iterate and improve on marketing programs through regular measurement and optimization.
  • Establish and maintain the program plan and calendar, as well as individual campaign timelines. Coordinate deliverable schedules across marketing and consolidate into a cohesive timeline.

What It Takes:

  • 3+ years' experience in B2C demand generation, integrated marketing or campaign program management
  • Excellent brief writing skills - you really know your customer, their concerns and what it takes to get them to buy
  • Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and communicate effectively across global teams.
  • Project management/organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives at once
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments
  • Results oriented with experience using qualitative and quantitative metrics with a focus on revenue, conversion, sales, and other marketing goals
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify and suggest areas for campaign performance improvements/optimization.
  • Track record of successful results and creativity with program execution
  • Ability to think out of the box and test new, creative approaches and strategies
  • Experience with an enterprise software, SaaS, or security company
  • Strong digital marketing expertise (paid search, SEO, Web, etc.) is a plus
