Special Events Supervisor

FULL-TIME Opportunity

We're hiring a Special Events Lead who will oversee operations within the Special Events Department while at various events. In addition, the Special Events Lead will act as an extension of the Special Events Manager by scheduling and staffing employees for events, ensure customer service, provide event management, and resolving issues.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee and maintain event equipment and supplies.
* Assist with scheduling and staffing.
* Assist Operations in resolving issues and inquiries.
* Movement of supplies and equipment to and from event locations, including towing trailers
* Frequent movement and lifting of items over 25lbs.
* Occasional work within weather elements to include but not limited to; heat, cold, rain, etc.
* Develop and coordinate teamwork between events staff and operations staff.
* Communicate with customers and maintain company integrity.

* Maintains relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

* May be required to fill vacant spaces to complete staffing requirements.
* Responsible for the retention or current accounts and the development of new sales activities
* Maintains a relationship with current customers to provide a closed loop communication.
* Prepares monthly reports related to a specific set of criteria amongst customers.
* May gather information related to competition and have a thorough understanding of competitors.
* Understand GMR's requirements and responsibilities as related to CON's and other agreements.
* Must be able to meet tight deadlines.
* May be required to work some nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Assist with employee questions and guidance.
* Mentor employees
* Assign personnel various tasks.
* Assist in driving performance management.
* Champion affirmative action efforts in all aspects of employment, including but not limited to staffing, training, promotion, etc.
* Responsible for compliance with and enforcement of company and/or department policies and procedures

* Assist with QA/QI of Special Event Documentation

Minimum Required Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED.
* Minimum of 18 years of age.
* Previous supervisory / training experience preferred
* Arizona certified as EMT or Paramedic or obtain immediately with reciprocity.
* FEMA 100, 200, 700 and 800
