The Health and Life Sciences Chief Operating Office (HLS COO) is seeking a skilled and driven Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives through scalable analytics solutions and actionable insights. This role is central to enabling data-driven decision-making across Microsoft's Health and Life Sciences (HLS) domain, with a strong emphasis on clinical applications.You'll work cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical requirements, build intuitive dashboards, and embed AI capabilities into our analytics ecosystem-all while ensuring alignment with Microsoft's operating model, data governance standards, and compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical and analytical requirements.Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and other Microsoft analytics tools.Contribute to the development of AI-driven insights, including predictive modeling and propensity analysis.Investigate and deploy new AI methods, tools, and agents to accelerate the time to deliver outcomes.Support the development of reusable data pipelines and analytics assets for cross-team consumption.Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and process improvement.Document and optimize business processes, workflows, and data flows to support scalable analyticsCollaborate with data engineers, product managers, and AI specialists to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions.Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance with Microsoft's data handling standards.Drive analytics initiatives within the HLS domain, with a strong emphasis on clinical applications. | |
