About This Role

The Kansas State University Department of Curriculum and Instruction seeks to appoint a tenure-track assistant professor who can teach quantitative research methods related to PK-12 Schools and also serve as Accreditation Analyst. Candidates would teach (1-1 course load), conduct research, and serve as accreditation analyst for licensure programs. Candidates should also be prepared to quickly position themselves to contribute to graduate teaching and the supervision of doctoral student research.

Worksite Description

This position is on-site. This position is required to be performed on-site. Work is performed on employer premises or designated assignment location.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.


What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

* EdD/PhD completed by start date.
* Higher education teaching experience.
* Online teaching experience.
* Necessary research credentials in order to receive graduate faculty status on appointment.
* Strong potential for excellence in scholarship and grant writing.
* Quantitative research methodological expertise contributing to the courses and programs of the department.
* Prior experience with accreditation processes and data in teacher education.

The degree requirement is necessary for accreditation purposes and to ensure candidates possess the specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities that can only be attained through a formal educational program at this level.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bilingual (full professional level proficiency).
* Evidence of instructional excellence in online education.
* Experience, expertise, and/or strong interest in international programming.

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
