Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing management:

  • Based on internal business requirements and external industry new change, design manufacturing category sourcing strategies
  • Supplier onboarding: evaluate supplier by online survey or onsite audit about technical\commercial capacity, lead supplier qualification till supplier onboard in system.
  • Supplier selection: lead X-team conduct RFP process, select supplier with comprehensive solution.

Contract Management:

  • Participate in contract negotiations, ensuring cost-effective terms and conditions.
  • Manage contract changes and variations, assessing their financial implications.
  • Monitor contract compliance and performance.

Suppliers Management:

  • Supplier overall strategies set up per Lenovo strategy and MFG program requirements. Regular review and adjust to reflect the most updated supplier targets& requirements.
  • Supplier selection/evaluation/negotiation: through various sourcing activities, ensure max values delivered and whole process compliance.
  • Supplier partnership enhancement: share strategies and align win-win solutions, close interlock with strategic supplier leadership, regular catch up to revisit support needs between parties.
  • Supplier Performances management: through daily operation management and regular performance review, drive for supplier solutions enhance, process optimization, creative innovations and technical enhance to support LME strategy.
  • Supplier risks management: close monitor key vendors supply and financial risks, prepare mitigation plans to ensure business development.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess risks associated with WWGP and SHs.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor risk performance and provide updates to management.

Professional Development and Compliance:

  • Staying up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to category management.
  • Continuously improving personal skills and knowledge through professional development activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to cost management.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar degrees
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Must have indirect procurement experience/knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • negotiation skills
  • Deep knowledge on real estate and indirect procurement
  • Able to work a hybrid schedule
  • Able to work outside of normal hours due to team being based in different places
