Mailroom Clerk - JLL What this job involves: As a Mailroom Clerk at JLL, you will manage comprehensive mail processing operations that ensure efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence for our clients. This essential role requires attention to detail and organizational skills to sort, process, and distribute mail while maintaining proper postage procedures and shipping protocols. You'll be a vital part of daily business operations, ensuring seamless communication flow that supports client productivity and satisfaction. Your reliability and accuracy in mail handling will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of office operations and reflect JLL's commitment to operational excellence and client service. What your day-to-day will look like: * Sort and collate incoming mail while disposing of junk mail to maintain organized mail flow * Sort various mail types including returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments with accuracy * Resolve issues with incorrect or returned mail through proper research and corrective action * Receive outgoing mail and apply correct postage using postage meters and weighing equipment * Arrange for pickup of outgoing mail and coordinate with postal services for timely delivery * Fold letters, circulars, and documents before inserting into envelopes for proper distribution * Record registered mail and maintain accurate tracking records for accountability * Place mail in appropriate buckets and bins for efficient department distribution * Process outgoing shipments through multiple carriers including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS Required Qualifications: * Strong attention to detail for accurate mail sorting and processing * Organizational skills to manage multiple mail streams and distribution requirements * Physical ability to lift mail bins and carry materials to various departments * Basic math skills for calculating postage and weighing mail accurately * Reliability and punctuality for consistent daily mail processing operations * Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy in repetitive tasks * Customer service skills for interaction with internal departments and external mail services Preferred Qualifications: * Previous mailroom or office support experience * Familiarity with postage meters and shipping equipment * Knowledge of postal regulations and shipping procedures * Experience with multiple shipping carriers and their requirements * Understanding of registered mail procedures and tracking systems Location: Onsite - Centennial, CO Estimated compensation for this position: 42,000.00 - 47,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
