Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Human Resources Analyst to join our team!

Role Summary:

This role manages workforce data to support strategic planning, analytics, and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data handling with a strong attention to data integrity and precision.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:

Data Analytics & Reporting:



  • Collects, cleans, and validates workforce data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Calculates and reports data analytics across core HR functions, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations and learning & development.
  • Assists in the development of dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate trends and insights to business stakeholders.
  • Documents data definitions, reporting methodologies, and source systems to support data governance and transparency.
  • Creates templates and tools to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
  • Coordinates federal reporting requirements, including calculating key metrics and compiling data for VETS-4212.


Workforce Planning:



  • Supports workforce planning cycles by gathering and organizing data inputs.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and complete data submission for workforce planning activities.
  • Monitors the implementation and progress of workforce plans, identifying potential risks or gaps and escalating as needed.
  • Assists in building and maintaining skills inventories to assess organizational capabilities and identify talent gaps.
  • Participates in post-cycle reviews to identify opportunities for process improvement and data quality enhancement.


Employee Programs:



  • Administers BuckIdeas payment processing and manages the associated approval workflow to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
  • Serves as an HR liaison to Buckeye Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), providing support as needed with ERG initiatives.
  • And other duties as assigned.



Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR analytics or business analytics role.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and chart creation.
  • Intermediate PowerPoint proficiency for data visualization and executive presentations.
  • Experience in data collection, cleaning, and validation processes.
  • Familiarity with HR systems or ERP platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to perform basic workforce metric calculations and interpret results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across HR and business teams.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Travel: 10%

  • Strong team player who demonstrates interest and ability in contributing to the Human Resources team success
  • Must have ability to work at a desk for extended periods of time.
