Customer Solutions Group / Application Engineering team (Switching BU)

What You Can Expect

Support existing customers with existing product software support. Demonstrate Product portfolio to customers and industry analysts. Support new customers on product design and development. Provide Enterprise switching and Data Centre networking products support L1, L2, L3 network layers, system infrastructure, system bring up and so on. Interact with customers on issues they are dealing with, debug the issues, replicate the problem in local setup, raising the defect if needed with concerned engineering team, validating the fix and help customers on patching the same, discussing with product designers and developers to understand the feature and help customers on their queries. Work closely with Engineering as an escalation point to help with customer platform bring up, debug, fault isolation and HW support. Work closely with customer to integrate Marvell SDK in the customer NOS, troubleshoot issue seen during integration and at Production/Deployment. Wage range: $198,000.00 - $218,000.00 per year.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Experience must include five (5) years with each of the following:

* Networking ASIC Chipset fundamentals.
* Programming with C, C++, and Python.
* Developing code: cscope, ctags, git, gdb, SDK, APIs.
* Networking Protocols in Layer 2, Layer 3, Tunnel, Mirroring such as- ARP, STP, VLAN, IPv4/v6.
* Advanced PBR, QoS concepts and debug - ACL, Rate limiting, Scheduling, Priority Map, Pause/PFC.
* Implementation, deployment, and managements of Systems in Datacenter with focus on ISSU, Warmboot/Soft-restart.
* Debugging using advanced tools: gdb, pdb, custom CLIs, shell commands.
* Software Lab activity and troubleshooting using Traffic Generators such as Spirent, IXIA, XENA.
