About the Unit
5A is a Medical Intermediate Care inpatient unit, comprised of a team of dedicated and caring nurses who deliver care to a complex adult patient population. As a member of our team, you will engage in a true relationship-based model, building relationships with patients and families as well as your peers, guided by our values of love and excellence. During and post an individualized orientation, we support independence in nursing practice. We encourage board certification in Medical-Surgical, Geriatric and/or Progressive Care Nursing.

What We're Looking For
We seek a dynamic Nurse Manager who brings:

  • Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting
  • A collaborative spirit and team-oriented mindset
  • A strong foundation in cardiac care and post-operative patient management
  • A drive to foster excellence in patient outcomes and staff development

Education & Requirements:

  • Current nursing licensure in the State of Delaware or compact state required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Completed BSN and Master's degree or alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and Masters of Science in Nursing.
  • 5 years appropriate clinical and leadership experience required.
  • Professional certification in a related nursing specialty required.
  • Nurse Executive certification preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Annual Compensation Range $121,180.80 - $193,897.60 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
