The Sr. Controls & Automation Support Technician will be responsible for supporting automation systems for manufacturing operations. You will evaluate current and future technical automation needs for procurement and provide expertise on automation systems. Additionally, you will maintain automation systems and change processes, assist equipment training, and support FSQA processes. This position will operate as a night shift from 6PM to 6AM on a 2-2-3 schedule with rotating weekends off A Day in the Life... This position will operate as a night shift from 6PM to 6AM on a 2-2-3 schedule with rotating weekends off * Assist in evaluating and selecting automation hardware and software necessary to meet current and future manufacturing requirements. * Provide input to managing the controls and automation systems testing, quality control, data retrieval and training for all packaging and processing equipment. * Assist with assessing the effectiveness and maintainability of new automation systems and managing the automation change process for existing equipment. * Develop and maintain control system documentation and documentation change control procedures. * Support and promote food safety and quality program initiatives within the plant environment.
