The Distribution Associate will provide daily support for all distribution functions (Traffic, DC's, Plant), support to Customer Service and Sales, regarding all inventory related activities. Maintains high level inventory accuracy for finished goods. Responsible for scheduling Business Contract shipments.
This position will require the employee to work overtime as needed. Overtime is scheduled based upon individual job responsibilities and the needs of the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

- Allocate inventory for customer orders and reports to Customer Service any issues
- Assist DC's and 3PL's regarding inventory, orders issues.
- Allocation set up for new customers including details in QAD, E2OPEN and Chep
- Assist with daily and monthly inventory and Chep audits to ensure accuracy.
- Support with scheduling shipments for Business Contract customers
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- One (1) year experience working within an office environment.
- Inventory experience preferred.
- Preferred transportation knowledge with a preference in planning outbound orders
- Strong computer skills and required specific to Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge and experience in the following systems: TMS, WMS, ERP such as QAD
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Problem solving and make fact-based decision working independently to resolve issues
- Detailed, accuracy and work with high volume in fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to set priorities, achieve deadlines, and manager multiple tasks at the same time.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
SALARY & BENEFITS
The Jel Sert Company is committed to pay transparency and will provide further compensation information during the interview process. The minimum compensation for the Distribution Associate is $19.18 per hour. Compensation is determined by a candidate's experience, education, skills, training, and the internal equity within our organization. Actual compensation to be paid will be determined upon an offer.
