Location: Medical Center-ProsperDepartment: Patient and Family ExperienceShift: Varying Shifts (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours: 20Summary: The Guest Relations Specialist is responsible for providing a welcoming presence and excellent service to patients, families, visitors, and staff through the information we impart and the personal attention we give each guest. When we are at our best, everyone at Cook Children's feels like family. In this role, you are likely to be the first impression of Cook Children's. Patients and families are often scared, uncertain and confused when they enter. In demonstrating through your words, actions, and body language, you ensure to them that they are in great hands and have come to the best place to care for their child. You will quickly establish a welcoming rapport and make a difference in families' day and healthcare journey. The Patient/Family/Member Experience teams' mission is to give voice to what patients, families, and members see, advocate for how experiences affect well-being, provide support and emotional safety, and elevate people, processes, and technology. This position will also assist the Patient Experience Manager with the organization of parent events and patient programming. Hours: 20 hours per week.
