How you will make history here...

As the Training Manager at our Willard facility-the largest producer of Goldfish and a key site for Campbell's snacks-you'll lead the transformation of our training programs into a modern, digital-first experience. You'll be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs to develop and enhance the skills of employees within our manufacturing facility. Your work will directly impact nearly 1,000 employees, helping build a scalable, high-performance training culture that supports both compliance and capability development. Success in this role positions you for long-term growth across Campbell's network.

What you will do...

  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs for hourly and salaried employees.

  • Execute site onboarding and orientation programs.

  • Drive adoption of digital training tools and platforms, including LED asset-level screens and self-service modules.

  • Develop and coach a team of training coordinators using a train-the-trainer model.

  • Partner with department leaders to build training matrices, accountability templates, and performance monitoring systems.

  • Facilitate monthly frontline leadership training and support broader leadership development initiatives.

  • Serve as a liaison between the site and the Supply Chain Training COE.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Who you will work with...

In this role, you'll report directly to the Site HR Leader/indirectly to the Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE) and lead a growing training team that includes one salaried Training Coordinator. You'll also collaborate closely with two HR Coordinators and a Senior HR Generalist to align training efforts with broader HR strategies. Cross-functional partnerships are essential to success in this role-you'll work regularly with leaders in Operations, Safety, Quality, and the Corporate Center of Excellence (COE), as well as department leadership across the site to ensure training programs are effective, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's Degree (Minimum Qualification)

  • 5 years of experience in training and development (Minimum Qualification)

  • Proven experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training facilitation

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills

  • Proficiency in learning management systems (e.g., Alchemy, Aveva Teamwork) and training technologies

  • Ability to work on the production floor and in strategic planning meetings.

It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)

  • Master's degree in a related field

  • Experience in a Manufacturing or Industrial Environment

  • Experience implementing digital training platforms and performance tracking systems.

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance training and leadership development programs

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to training evaluation

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$85,900-$123,500

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
