Staffmark is Hiring a Winding Operator in Houston, TX! Join a skilled team and play a vital role in producing electric motors. If you have experience in motor winding, soldering, or crimping, this is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career.

Pay: $20-23/hr

Shift: 1st Shift Available

Lifting: Up to 50 lbs

What You'll Do:



  • Wind electric motors by inserting copper wire coils and connecting jumpers/lead cables
  • Read and interpret motor specifications using BOM and Winding Instruction Sheets
  • Insert insulation and copper wire coils into stator cores
  • Pre-form coil end turns using rubber mallets or forming pedals
  • Trim phase separators
  • Connect jumpers/lead cables using soldering, hydraulic, or air crimpers
  • Hand-lace winding end turns
  • Inspect work to meet quality control standards
  • Form coils and assist with related production tasks as needed
