The accounting clerk is a member of the accounting department who works closely with transaction and compliance teams and company ownership.

Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Process payments of accounts payable.
  • Set up of transactions and pull reports from multiple online banking platforms.
  • Compile and review reporting packages.
  • Extensive communication with third parties in various roles.
  • Electronic filing of items received.
  • Other administrative duties.

Requirements
Required Skills:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
  • Team player and positive attitude.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Understanding of automated accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics preferred.


Required Experience:


  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and general ledger in a batch-based accounting system.


Preferred Experience:


  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or comparable field.
