What you'll do:

As a valued member of the Cove Vision team, you will provide comprehensive, full-scope optometric care, performing both routine and medical eye examinations for a diverse patient population spanning all ages and visual and medical conditions. In this role, you'll deliver exceptional eye care, educate patients on their ocular health, and thoughtfully recommend products that enhance their quality of vision. You will see up to 22 patients a day, helping people while maintaining a balanced workload. This is a full-time opportunity, offering a consistent 40-hour workweek with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Your commitment and expertise are further rewarded with a competitive 14.5% production bonus, recognizing your dedication to outstanding patient care.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
