Job Summary: Assists the Department Chair and program coordinators with advising for prospective and current students with the Community/Public Health, Physical Education, Educational Foundations, Community and Teacher Leaders, Urban Community Studies, and Educational Doctorate program requirements for declaration, progression, and completion for undergraduate and graduate programs, along with Physical Education TLP and Focus programs for Health and Physical Education. Provides class authorization support for HSPE, EDFN/MACTL, UCS, and EdD undergraduate and graduate courses. Maintains and updates student records in the electronic database multiple times throughout the semester. Attends all events targeted toward enrollment and retention of undergraduate and graduate prospective and current students.Job Description:
Minimal Qualifications: A master's degree in any field and a minimum of two years of professional experience in a university or higher education setting are required. Transcripts: Copies of unofficial transcripts are accepted; however, official transcripts for all earned degrees will be required of candidates selected for final interviews. This position requires a background check. Salary Range 55,000-65,000Benefits University employees may be eligible for a variety of State of Illinois benefits.
