Senior Occupational Health Nurse

Cape Fox Endeavor is accepting resume for a Senior Occupational Health Nurse to serve through virtual and telemedical support to EPA employees. The senior nurse will actively assist with clinical oversight & support by delivering advanced nursing care and clinical guidance for occupational health services provided to EPA personnel, triaging complex cases and collaborate with the MD for escalated care, and serve as a clinical resource for the staff RN, ensuring adherence to protocols and quality standards.

The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position is $58.09 for up to 40 hours per week. This is comprised of a base hourly rate of $53.00 plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations. This rate represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Responsibilities:

• Maintain key clinical workflows, including telehealth procedures, documentation practices, and case management protocols.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and update clinical SOPs in alignment with federal contract requirements.
• Serve as the primary clinical liaison to the external vendor providing onsite medical services (e.g., vaccines, lab draws, physicals).
• Coordinate logistics, ensure service quality, and troubleshoot issues related to vendor-delivered care.
• Track and document vendor performance and service outcomes as part of contract reporting.
• Partner with the Program Manager to implement new initiatives, address operational challenges, and support contract deliverables.
• Collaborate with the administrative assistant to streamline scheduling, documentation, and communication with EPA stakeholders.
• Provide virtual nursing care, including health assessments, follow-ups, and wellness consultations.
• Ensure HIPAA and Privacy Act compliance and patient confidentiality in all telehealth interactions.
• Develop and deliver internal training on clinical protocols, telehealth tools, and process updates.
• Stay informed on occupational health trends, federal guidelines, and emerging best practices.
• Foster strong communication across the remote team to ensure cohesive and coordinated care delivery.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts.
• Strong understanding of federal occupational health standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, especially in virtual and cross-functional environments.
• Experience collaborating with third-party vendors for medical services such as immunizations, lab work, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
