We're hiring a Software Engineer II to join our Secrets Management & PKI team. We own the Secret Activation SDK and the data plane SDK that power secure, reliable secret access across Microsoft and Azure services. You'll build secure-by-default, highquality client libraries and platform integrations used by engineers across Identity, Azure, Office, Dynamics, and Xbox. Ideal candidates have strong software development fundamentals, experience with distributed systems or platform SDKs, and working knowledge of security principles (e.g., authN/Z, key management, PKI, crypto hygiene). Bring an Assume Breach mindset to harden our APIs, improve developer experience, and raise the security bar at Microsoft scale. ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain secure, developerfriendly SDKs.Deliver endtoend SDK lifecycle: design, implementation, versioning, documentation, and developer experience.Ensure reliability and LiveSite excellence through monitoring, telemetry, incident response, and continuous improvement.Embed security and compliance by default, including threat modeling, safe defaults, and signed releases. | |
