This includes quality assurance and quality control of incoming, in-process, and final delivery systems as well as developing and reviewing reports and status for all quality issues encountered. JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY 
 
 
 Maintain compliance with standards of the quality management system (QMS) for ISO 9001:2015Assists in the initiation and resolution of quality inspections including deviations, out of specifications, out of tolerances, facility incident notifications, corrective/preventive actions and/or non-compliances (NCs)Uses the configuration management tool, CMPro, to generate, track, and close work orders and deviationsReview and inspect IUID labels and other IUID requirementsReads and Understands Engineering DrawingsEnsures the implementation of performance targets set for the departmentMaintaining a high level of quality awareness throughout the organization through on the job and other regular training and system auditingResponsible for reviewing, assessing, tracking, following-up and completing quality inspections, investigations, CAPA, risk assessments, and action itemsUpdates databases, prepares weekly metrics, identifies and communicates trending and tracking of Quality Events to supervisorPerforms QA functions including review of production processes to ensure compliance with operating procedures and facilitate process improvementsResponsible for supporting the audit by regulatory agencies and government inspectionsFollows applicable regulations, including ISO, and company policies and proceduresProvide QA input and guidance during production of commercial product related to quality events and issue resolutionWorks with project planners to resolve common production issuesUse measuring tools, scale, multimeter and test equipment as needed to accomplish tasks.Use of torque wrenches/ screwdrivers to verify customer torque requirement on inspected equipment.Other Duties as assigned

 High School DiplomaThis position requires a U.S. Government DoD granted security clearance/eligibility at the final Secret level. Individual must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance/eligibility for employment

 2+ years of experience with quality assurance, quality control, or other inspection or quality processes and proceduresFamiliarity with defense communication systems projects to include scheduling, quality assurance, quality control, and risk management.Experience with coordination of calibration activities in a government environment.Strong technical, interpersonal, written and verbal skillsAbility to operate effectively independently and in a team environmentAbility to provide direct interface with customersFlexibility of schedule and the ability to work occasional overtime when needed
