Pay:



  • $22.50/hour


Job Summary:

As a Resettlement Case Manager, you will assist newly arrived refugee and immigrant families who have had difficulties with their integration. You will establish a self-sufficiency plan with each individual/family and work toward stability with each objective over their service period of case management support; this may include coordinating housing, medical appointments, employment search, county benefits, school enrollment, as well as other means of supporting the individual to achieve self-sufficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Political Science, and/or experience working in Human Services or Social Work field.
  • One year of experience providing social services to refugees or immigrants preferred.
  • Experience completing case notes and county applications for MFIP, MNsure, and SNAP.
  • Microsoft Office skills required (Work, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work with children.
  • Ability to drive families including children who require use of a car sear in personal and agency van.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, access to reliable transportation, and willingness to drive throughout the seven-county metro area daily.
  • Fluent in Arabic, Oromo, or Somali preferred.
