Join us. *Summary:* We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Mechanical/Forging Engineering Intern at our Cudahy, WI plant located approximately 5 miles south of Milwaukee. As an intern at ATI Cudahy Operations, you will get to learn from an experienced and knowledgeable group of professionals in a unique environment, gaining priceless experience in the materials science industry. *Essential Functions:* Working on safety issues and concerns within the Forge Shop Implementing/creating Forge Shop and Die Room improvements Assessing inspection methods Helping solve Forge Shop Engineering Issues Assisting with instructions for various processes not limited to grinding, cleaning and forging process Minimum Qualifications: College Student Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 3.0 or higher GPA Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and drawings Preferred Qualifications: Ability to write simple macros and programs is a plus Desired Skills: Proficiency with Office applications Familiarity with CAD and modeling software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills We thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
