Job Description

Visa's Global Sales & Commercial Operations team supports the execution and delivery of key global initiatives and planning activities across the company.Our mandate is to develop, design, and execute the strategic direction for Visa's business operations and global sales organization, be the super connector for the markets, regions, global groups and bring a consistent voice and 'One Visa' mindset.

Join our Sales Analytics team - a dynamic group focused on data engineering, business intelligence, and data science. As a Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of building intuitive, scalable dashboards and performing data analyses that empower our global teams to make faster, smarter decisions.

We're looking for a creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights through beautiful, user-centric dashboards.

Accountabilities

As a dashboard developer and data analyst, you will leverage design and development standards, processes, and best practices. You will partner with data engineers, data product managers, and program managers to deliver advanced BI capabilities to a global customer base.

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI that deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into intuitive data visualizations.
  • Perform mid-level data analyses to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain BI data sets and reporting solutions that support self-service analytics.
  • Apply design thinking and prototyping to create user-friendly interfaces.
  • Support dashboard operations, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Automate repeatable analyses and reporting workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Contribute to agile development cycles and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Proven experience with Tableau and Power BI in a professional setting.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing data visualization and dashboard design.
  • Understanding of interactive visualization best practices and user experience principles.
  • Experience in agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks.
  • Familiarity with Python, Spark, and scheduling tools like Tuber.
  • Demonstrated experimentation with of Generative AI and its application to this space.
  • Prior experience in the payments industry or with Visa data assets is a plus.
Additional Information

Work Authorization:Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 161,400.00 to 234,250.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
