Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months of separation from employment.

Full Time, 40 hrs per week

Day Shift

Summary:
The Cardiographic Technician I role performs or assists with technical work in the screening, preparation and delivery of stress testing procedures. This role is responsible for EKG recognition and Holter monitor preliminary interpretation and placement. Additional responsibilities may include taking medical histories, recording vital signs, scheduling patients and equipment maintenance.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)


  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Graduate of a cardiovascular technology course or related Exercise Science program preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: CNA or Medical Assistant Certification preferred. CCT and/or CRAT preferred. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: One year of experience as an ECG technician or equivalent experience in a clinical position (i.e. MA, CTA, ANA) with training in arrhythmia recognition required.
