Description MaineHealth CorporateManagement/Leadership Summary: The Manager, Medical Staff Operations provides leadership, direction, and oversight for Medical Staff Services across MaineHealth. This role is responsible for supervising Medical Staff Specialists and Lead Specialists and ensuring the effective and compliant execution of onboarding, privileging, peer review coordination, and medical staff governance processes across all MaineHealth hospitals. Reporting to the Senior Director, Credentialing & Medical Staff Services, the Manager serves as a key member of the department leadership team and is accountable for translating system-wide strategy into standardized operational practices. The Manager collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders including credentialing, compliance, legal, and medical staff leadership to ensure timely and accurate credentialing-related activities, regulatory readiness, and operational excellence. This position works in partnership with peer leaders to support the implementation of MaineHealth's regional governance model, optimize workflows across entities, and contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving quality, efficiency, and provider experience.
