We are seeking an experienced Insights Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving our understanding of brand health and the evolving competitive landscape. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and be passionate about transforming data into actionable business insights.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Brand Health Tracking: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive brand health tracking studies, utilizing a blend of primary and secondary data sources to monitor brand awareness, perception, and sentiment
  • Competitive Marketing Research: Lead research projects analyzing competitors' strategies, positioning, campaigns, and market performance; deliver insights that guide strategic marketing initiatives
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Synthesize multiple data sources into accessible, visually compelling dashboards and reports; deliver clear narratives that inform cross-functional stakeholders
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and executive teams to understand business needs, design appropriate research approaches, and translate findings into actionable recommendations

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 5+ years of professional experience in market research, brand tracking, consumer insights, competitive intelligence, or a closely related discipline
  • Experience translating complex insights into persuasive presentations
  • Ability to design and execute large-scale research projects, with a track record of influencing strategic decision-making

Preferred Qualification:

  • Background in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Knowledge of advanced brand health and competitive analytics frameworks
  • Familiarity with competitive research tools and platforms (e.g., MediaRadar, Pathmatics, Qualtrics, etc.) and analytical software (Excel, SPSS, Tableau, or similar)
  • Experience or familiarity with brand or reputation research
  • Crafting executive-level narratives and storytelling ability
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with four days per week onsite at 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344
  • Reside within commutable distance to the office at 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 - $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
