*Description*
Our client is seeking a Lead Generation Specialist to join their Marketing team. The Marketing team impacts lead generation and new sales opportunities through our digital campaigns, trade shows and sales enablement materials. Day to day you will contact existing customers and prospects to understand their business needs and initiatives, speak with key decisions makers to determine new business opportunities, and refer sales-ready leads to sales employees. As a Lead Generation Specialist, you will partner cross-functionally to provide weekly reports to management on sales activity, meeting or exceeding productivity goals. You will be responsible for the execution of lead generating electronic marketing promotions to effectively engage targeted audiences. Use prospect databases and demand generation/marketing automation technology to achieve objectives. Apply deep understanding of company's products, the competitive industry and company posture in the marketplace in responses to inquiries. Direct qualified leads to sales team for appropriate follow-up and close. Create reports and performs analyses from outreach/response tracking vehicles including email, website response/inquiries, social media and direct messaging; may be responsible for tracking marketing contributed revenue. Analyze results of promotions and makes recommendations to refine efforts to better generate product demand. Responsibilities also include: *Perform inbound and outbound lead generation through telephone and email communication .*Research relationship history with identified targets to ensure customer is not actively engaged with a Territory Manager. *Keep informed of industry trends, news, and events to assist in identifying new potential targets. *Use all available resources to understand our full suite of products, services, and capabilities; develop call strategies focused on customer-driven value propositions .*Qualify opportunities through discovery and use discretion to refer sales-ready leads to appropriate Territory Manager .*Follow and assist in developing weekly plans to maximize and leverage phone time, including pre-call planning and developing customized scripts based on completed research for all market segments and prospect types. *Establish close relationships with area-based sales teams. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
