Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:
*Support successful execution of multi-million dollar programs of automated systems, from engineering definition, production, deployment to customer, and post-sales support.
*Collaborate and coordinate with multiple internal functional groups including, but not limited to: Program and Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production Shipping & Logistics, Installation, etc.)
*Manage implementation of product strategy for the program including but not limited to understand customer priorities, engineering initiation, management of engineering activities to support a program, defining what teams will support engineering efforts, and deployment of final Bill of Material to ERP system.
*Manage the hardware and software base-line configurations for the program.
*Review various issue list(s) and convert entries into prioritized Hardware Problem Reports and Hardware Change Requests and Software Bugs & Pull Requests based on program objectives.
*Coordinate all hardware and software changes with customer engineering groups via their Change-Control procedures.
*Oversee rollout of approved hardware and software changes into production environment by assessing retrofit needs and updating work orders. Work with customers, field service and engineering teams when executing engineering changes, to understand impacts of change and develop plans that meet program strategy.
*Manage review and implementation of engineering change requests, and review/execute on changes to program related documentation related to engineering changes such as spares list, user manuals, etc.
*Create and standardize project configurations with the Product Lifecycle Management Tools.
*Create and update miscellaneous Bill of Material transactions within Windchill and Oracle to drive successful program execution.
*Conduct periodic site visits (up to 25% travel) to perform quality checks and document configuration issues.
*Uses software such as MS Office Project, Word and Excel, AutoCAD and ORACLE business suite to accomplish job responsibilities.
*Ensure adherence to customers' mechanical and electrical engineering specifications
*Communicate projects status, risks, challenges, and areas for improvement to the program team and stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
*Promote Intralox best practices, processes, and procedures.
*Champion and ensure company culture.
Requirements:
*B.S. in engineering or similar field with 3+ years of experience in material handling industry or product development environment
*Effective communication (verbal and written)
*Technical aptitude - Familiarity with fundamental industrial machine design concepts, sensors & actuators and industrial controls logic
*Good communication skills
*Experience with CAD software
*Asks good questions and a problem solver
*Must be detailed oriented and organized
*Must be a self-managed individual who is a team player
*Able to travel up to 25% of the time
*When critical to project success, able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
*Experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications
*Position based out of Hanover, Maryland.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
*Experience with the Material Handling Industry
*Experience with PLM (Windchill), ERP (Oracle) and Microsoft Project

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. Therefore, we encourage all qualified applicants to apply regardless of their salary expectations.

The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans

Salary Range $73,400 to $153,100.
