JMT, is currently ranked #50 on Engineering News-Record's list of the Top 500 Design Firm Position Summary We are seeking an energetic and technically adept leader to serve as the Regional Water Resources Leader for Pennsylvania and Ohio. This senior-level role will oversee strategic growth, technical excellence, and financial performance across the water resources portfolio in this region. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, business development acumen, and deep technical expertise in water resources engineering. Strategic Leadership & Business Development 
   
 Lead regional strategy: grow presence in PA & OH water resources markets, identify opportunities, and coordinate growth plan with office leaders and practice leadersCultivate and maintain relationships with key clients (e.g., state DOTs, municipalities, etc.)Guide proposal development and marketing efforts to secure new projects and expand regionally
 Technical & Project Oversight 
   
 Act as a technical authority on water resources projects: stormwater management, drainage design, modeling (HEC-RAS, SWMM, ICPR), permitting, restoration, MS4 compliance, and watershed-scale planningSupport, mentor, and elevate project managers and technical staff in water-resource deliverables
 Financial & Operational Leadership 
   
 Drive financial success by assisting with the management of budgets, resource allocation, staffing forecasts, and increasing profitability across regional projectsCollaborate with office and service line leaders to align regional staffing and operations
 Team Management & Development 
   
 Develop, coach, and manage water resources teams across the regionInterview and make recommendations for hiring staff for the practiceConduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback to foster professional growth
 Additional Duties 
   
 Participate in internal leadership teams; contribute to cross-regional initiativesAssume additional responsibilities as needed to support overarching firm objectives

 Required Experience
   
  
   
 Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in PA and OH or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.Minimum 12 years of experience in water resources engineering, with prior leadership, project management, or business development rolesDemonstrated expertise in hydraulic/hydrologic modeling and design software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, ArcGIS)Strong knowledge of permitting processes, stormwater regulations, MS4 compliance, TMDL, and regional environmental guidelinesExperience working with local clients at the state, county and municipal levelExceptional leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
 Working Conditions Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment. Travel between offices within Pennsylvania & Ohio is required, as well as occasional site visits.
