What to Expect
Tesla is looking for a highly organized and driven Facilities Coordinator to support our critical operations at the LFP Cell Manufacturing facility. This individual will play a key role in executing end-to-end procurement workflows, managing system spares and consumables, and ensuring the readiness and availability of operational tools and materials.
As part of the Facilities Operations Team, you will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, Commissioning, and Finance to ensure our systems are supported with the right materials at the right time - minimizing downtime, preventing bottlenecks, and helping us scale faster.

What You'll Do

   - Execute end-to-end procurement for Facilities-related needs - from PR creation to PO issuance, receiving, and invoicing follow-up
 - Manage purchasing of tools, spares, PPE, rentals, and other commissioning and operational support materials
 - Monitor and reorder low inventory of critical items based on usage trends and min/max levels. Handle urgent orders, blanket POs, and recurring vendor buys with high accuracy
 - Input and maintain material/procurement records in Tesla's Inventory Management System and Project management program
 - Work closely with technicians and engineers to ensure correct material identification, labeling, and tracking
 - Coordinate spares deliveries, validate part numbers, and ensure accurate receiving documentation
 - Investigate backorders, supplier delays, and coordinate with Procurement or Logistics for resolution

What You'll Bring

   - 2+ years experience in procurement, facilities coordination, inventory, or operations roles
 - Familiarity with PR/PO workflows and procurement platforms (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, etc.)
 - Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-complexity environments (manufacturing, construction, or logistics preferred)
 - Essential Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and operate equipment like forklifts in a plant or warehouse setting; must handle varying temperatures, industrial noise, and adhere to safety protocols
 - Ability to prioritize urgent requests, manage multiple open orders, and track spend against system needs
 - Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and the ability to learn Tesla systems quickly
 - Basic Excel/Google Sheets proficiency required; experience with ERP or Inventory systems a plus
