Overview JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer AGENCY: DOJ/COPS POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Position (No Telework or Remote Options) POSITION TIMING: Position requires a DOJ Public Trust security clearance which can take 4-6+ weeks to process and must be complete prior to candidate starting work. The COPS Office, an agency of the Department of Justice, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide new development as well as O&M to support the existing COPS application portfolio consisting of over 15 applications related to grants management. The Senior Software Engineer would provide technical support under the Microsoft Azure Government Cloud using standard ASP.Net development support for applications that use MVC and standard .Net coding. The Software Engineer will also serve as a full stack developer with experience working with SQL Server 2018 as the backend database support. Responsibilities
