This is a full-time position working in a collaborative group practice of ObGyn's, CNM's and APP's.

At least one year of practice experience is preferred. New grads with at least 3+ years of L&D RN experience will be considered.

Compensation: Minimum: $130,461.00 - Maximum: $176,947.00

Position Summary

A Certified Nurse Midwife is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who specializes in women's reproductive health and childbirth. CNMs provide care throughout the lifespan, with a focus on pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and general gynecological services.

Responsibilities

  • Provideprenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum careto women and their newborns.
  • Conductroutine gynecological exams, including Pap smears and breast exams.
  • Offerfamily planning servicesand contraceptive counseling.
  • Assist withlabor and delivery, including natural and medically assisted births.
  • Monitor thehealth of mother and babyduring and after childbirth.
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Collaborate with OB-GYNs, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients onreproductive health, childbirth preparation, and newborn care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailedmedical records.
  • Advocate forholistic, patient-centered careand support maternal mental health

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licenseandAdvanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)license in Washington State.
  • Successful completion of an American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM)-accredited nurse-midwifery program
  • Current active certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (or its predecessor, the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) Certification Council), or be actively seeking initial certification and obtain the same on the first examination for which he or she is eligible
  • Clinical experience inobstetrics, gynecology, or women's health.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • DEA, NPI & Prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $130,461.00 - $176,947.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
