About the role

Key stakeholder who leads the FIS implementation/conversion teams to deliver the project to successfully implement and convert new IBS business, in a way that provides the bank with self-sufficiency shortly after the conversion event. The Conversion Manager oversees all business, operational and technical aspects of the conversion.

Leverages banking conversion experience to identify and proactively mitigate risks and issues. Oversees the work required to meet conversion milestones which include the Product Definition, Operational Analysis, Readiness Review, Mock and Conversion weekends.

Leverage banking and conversion experience, operating as the principal conversion contact to the bank's leadership.

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for overall success of the conversion, navigating the client through the process providing experience-based consulting on best practices.

  • Leads the Conversion Management team (Functional and Technical PMs along with Administrative Support) resources to remove blockers and meet dates for on-time conversions.

  • Experience and knowledge to align company resources to resolve issues that block meeting a conversion date.

  • Contributor in the Deal Review Assurance and Sales Turnover meetings to organize and align teems to lead the conversion.

  • Facilitate weekly Conversion Management meetings with Client and FIS teams Oversees Project Plan updates and Event Manager - action items and issues to ensure teams are in lockstep with deliverables to meet dates.

  • Experience with conversions to know how to overcome complex issues organizing resources with expertise to ensure successful conversion milestones: Operational Analysis, Readiness Review, Mock Conversion and Conversion weekend.

  • Operational Analysis

  • Readiness Review Assessment

  • Conversion Playbook

  • Medallia Surveys sent to Client at mid-point of their Implementation project and at the close of their project.
