With a mix of technical skills-SQL, reporting, system security-and business process knowledge in finance, service, and CRM, you'll drive efficiency, system reliability, and continuous improvement at RK Industries. Position Summary The Application Support Specialist position provides ERP system user support for all RK Industries Company users. This position requires subject matter expertise in accounting and/or manufacturing software systems including history of user support. This position will require one to demonstrate both a broad and detailed knowledge of specific application systems such as Vista, Global Shop Solutions, Dynamics Great Plains and Infor. The position requires a high-level knowledge of industry business process knowledge, the ability to analyze local processes and troubleshoot system issues and queries. This position will also be responsible for periodic testing of system updates and patches. In addition, the position will be expected to adhere to all governance and controls established for application maintenance and support. Role Responsibilities Systems support and maintenance: Lead day-to-day systems helpdesk support, including troubleshooting tickets/requests Plan, coordinate and execute system software updates, with minor effects on business users Setup, remove and maintain user security. Liaison between users and vendor(s) to assist in troubleshooting system issues. Provide guidance to users regarding application processes. Perform testing on new processes and/or changes presented by Viewpoint and other applications. Use Helpdesk ticketing software for assisting users with various concerns. Increase output quality and productivity of systems and processes Ongoing training & documentation for all system users Champion systems compliance by assuring governance and compliance with consistent and reliable controls Provide ongoing support and assistance to the project implementation team as needed Qualifications 4+ years applications support in a corporate services environment. 3+ years reporting experience with SQL Query, Stored Procs, MSSQL, SSRS, Crystal Reports. Significant experience with Service, ERP, Finance, and Sales CRM business processes and systems. Vendor management experience in coordinating incident resolutions, upgrades, customizations, and training.
