Job Description:

Financial Crime compliance expectations are constantly evolving, requiring our Financial Crime consultants to adapt to challenging conditions, a wide breadth of client projects, and changing teams. You will have the opportunity to understand a client's operational and compliance controls, provide recommendations for strengthening their financial crime program, and implement real solutions to assist our clients in meeting their needs and goals. At Crowe, our Financial Crime Technology solution offerings range from Financial Crime model validations to Financial Crime technology implementations and enhancements, affording our consultants the ability to understand several aspects of Financial Crime risk management and provide opportunities to widen their breadth of expertise and knowledge. In this role, you can expect to:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with defining and developing technical and data requirements for anti-money laundering (AML) systems.

  • Aid in the configuration of an AML, Fraud, Customer Risk Rating, or Sanctions Screening systems.

  • Design, plan, and execute data workstreams as part of an AML system implementation.

  • Perform data analysis, data mapping, and data validation in support of an AML system project.

  • Maintain working knowledge of relevant rules and regulations, including BSA, USA PATRIOT Act and OFAC.

  • Conduct or facilitate internal or client facing meetings/presentations.

  • Create and deliver value-added reports and projects through strong deliverables that simplify complex issues and enable sustainable risk management practices for our clients.

  • Innovate new ideas and solutions to address existing and emerging areas of global risks.

  • Cultivate and enable strong relationships within your clients and community.

  • Willingness to travel 70% or more annually.

Education:

Outstanding academic performance in one of the following preferred majors or similar background:

  • Accounting

  • Actuarial Science

  • Business Administration

  • Business/Data Analytics

  • Computer Science

  • Economics

  • Engineering

  • Finance

  • Forensic Accounting

  • Informatics

  • Internal Audit

  • Management/Computer Information Systems

  • Statistics/Mathematics

Minimum 3.0 GPA (major and cumulative) required; 3.2 GPA (major and cumulative) preferred.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $27.00 - $42.00 per hour.
