We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Sr Employee Inclusion and Impact Training Specialist on our Human Resources team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.

This position will support
the Director to develop enterprise-wide educational inclusion programs. This
role will be responsible for building content, facilitating trainings, and
collaborating across HR to build new equity content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Workforce Inclusion Training/Facilitation

  • Develop and facilitate enterprise-wide educational inclusion programs and inclusion skills-based training for various stakeholders
  • Manage, organize, and implement inclusion trainings, and large-scale collective impact educational initiatives, through virtual, hybrid, in-person, and asynchronous events
  • Support BUs through facilitating educational sessions centered on identified workplace inclusion topics as needed
  • Facilitate sessions around sensitive inclusion topics leading to identified, measurable next steps for different audiences

Workforce Inclusion Training Content Development

  • As Inclusion and Employee Experience subject matter expert, collaborate with other parts of HR to create tools and programs pertinent to workforce access and fairness content
  • Develop materials, presentations to support the expansion of existing skills-based modules and establish structures to support Business unit learning and inclusion skill building
  • Establish goals, objectives and desired outcomes criteria for skills-based inclusion training at the enterprise and BU levels
  • Create learning resources for all stakeholders
  • Ensure all content considers changing regulations and aligns with existing skills-based curriculum
  • Plan, manage, and track trainings for a diverse slate of stakeholders through different modalities

Evaluation

  • Review and evaluate skills-based workforce inclusion trainings and programs outcome and delivery
  • Analyze feedback and build on effectiveness of existing curriculum and recommend enhancements and/skills-based learning opportunities for various employee audiences

May include other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's degree highly preferred (sociology, psychology, Human resources, Education or related field) or equivalent experience in workforce inclusion training and facilitation and high school diploma or equivalent education required
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate inclusion training and facilitation required
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience in presenting with diverse group of employees
  4. Strong collaborative skills
  5. Must be solutions oriented
  6. Excellent project and time management skills
  7. Demonstrated capacity to take initiative and ability to adapt to changing landscape
  8. Knowledgeable in latest research, trends, and best practices in promoting workplace inclusion

The American Medical Association is located at 330 N. Wabash Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611 and is convenient to all public transportation in Chicago.

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $85,680-$113,526. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration and geographical location, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
