Description
Administrative support to legal department, including phone calls, correspondence, calendar management, processing invoices, and tracking legal expenditures.
- Administrative litigation-related support, including drafting and filing pleadings, communications, proofs of-claim, setting hearings, pursuing service of process, and abstracting judgements
- Process all deposit account-related service of process (garnishments, levies, liens, receiverships) including logs, research, communications, freezing of accounts, remitting funds and tracking releases
- Process all research requests (subpoenas, summons) including logs, research, communications, and collecting funds
- Administrative support for deposit account-related matters including Powers of Attorney, estate and trust documentation
- Administrative support for corporate insurance program including organizing committee meetings, taking minutes, organizing policy documents, tracking claims, and organizing information for the annual renewal process
- Process corporate regulatory filings for bank-related entities and administration duties for annual shareholder matters
- Administer certain board-related duties including preparation of board minutes, resolutions, and other related matters
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or some college courses preferred
- 5-7 years related work experience
- Microsoft Office, Outlook, Office Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of filing documents with Texas court systems, whether online or on paper; and knowledge of PACER and related filing systems
Skills:
- Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
- Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs
