SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS JOB TITLE: Reprographics Operator REQUISITION: NUC00D7 DEPARTMENT: Corporate Communications LOCATION: Wolf Creek PAY RANGE: Reprographics Operator I - $25.62 Reprographics Operator II - $28.48 Reprographics Operator III - $31.63 POSITION SUMMARY: Operate and maintain various reprographic equipment including digital printers/copiers, plotters, binding equipment, scanners and various other equipment to ensure company requests are met. Incumbents must be able to schedule work priorities to ensure that all customer requests are fulfilled, which includes being adaptable to changing schedules including jump-up activities. At times, to ensure various customer's needs are met multiple tasking must be performed. Assist with performing audio and visual needs by setting up equipment in various locations for meetings and presentations. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate all reprographics department equipment proficiently and safely. Equipment may include, but not limited to, high speed duplicator/copiers; offset printing presses; engraver; sublamination equipment, engineering copiers; hole punchers/drills; automatic paper cutters; plastic and metal saws/cutters, various small equipment used in reprographics; assorted bindery equipment for finishing reprographics jobs. Perform various graphics functions such as layout, paste-up and forms design to determine size, spacing, type style, clarity, specific time schedules, reversions and quantity for reprographics jobs requested by customers. Sort, bundle, and route mail to ensure accurate and prompt distribution on a daily basis. Support plant activities by obtaining and transporting materials and small equipment. Operate office machines (postage scale meter, computer, copy machine and fax machines). Maintain appropriate records regarding postage, registered mail, parcels and mail requiring special handling. Plan, organize and order basic supplies to ensure inventory is at appropriate levels for job tasks in reprographics. Perform routine maintenance, care and clean up of reprographics and engraving equipment, including all copiers throughout the plant site. Maintain clean, safe and orderly work area to produce quality work. Responsible for the plant labeling and indexing associated with engraving and sublamination of signs and labels. Assist in providing support for the company using audio/visual equipment, production printing system and other various equipment. Assist with performing scanning of photos, slide, film, and OCR conversions. Perform other duties as assigned by supervision/management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent. The Reprographics Operator III requires broad range of knowledge of reproduction equipment such as copiers, plotters, and printers, engraving equipment and audio/visual equipment. The Reprographics Operator III requires two years experience as a Reprographics Operator II. The Reprographics Operator II requires one year as a Reprographics Operator I.

This position requires the ability to: read and interpret documents such as procedures, safety rules, pre-job briefs and radiation work permits (RWPs); write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively to customers or employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. This position requires the ability to: solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situation where only limited standardization exists; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.

This position requires the ability to be customer service oriented. This position requires the ability to learn computer skills for operation of company LAN access. This position requires the ability to assist equipment service representatives with maintenance and repairs as necessary as well as observe and learn new techniques to maintain equipment. This position requires good oral and written communication skills. This position requires a satisfactory work record including good attendance.
